Screen Capture made Easy with ‘PrintScreen’

You might have tried several tools to capture desktop screen or an active window, sometimes part of the screen which has got an interesting image. Surely it is not so easy to complete the job with old Windows screen capture methods. But, you can do this by just pressing the ‘PrintScreen’ button on your keyboard and selecting the area of interest by mouse pointer with Gadwin PrintScreen software. You can follow these steps given as screen shots below. Select the preference button and keep the hot key option as ‘PrintScreen’. Set the source as you require. I selected ‘Rectangular Area’ to capture part of a window. Decide your destination folder and image formats. Here common image formats BMP, JPG,GIF,PNG and TIF. If you need to resize the image to a specific size, give width and height details. Leave all other fields as default.

To capture an image, press the hot key button ‘PrintScreen’ once, a small windows appears on the right top corner of the screen. Also mouse pointer (+ symbol) appears and it will get ready to capture any image visible on your desktop. Place the pointer to any corner of the selection area. Drag diagonally to the other end of the area. This form a rectangle area and you can see your image is now within that area. Press ‘Enter’ button, a new window will appear now. Click on ‘Continue Output’ button on the screen. You can see that your captured image is saved in the selected folder. Very easy, isn’t it?
