You can have a virtual tour to the venues of 2008 Beijing Olympics. An interactive map on BBC SPORT can help you moving around the venues. There are more than 30 venues in Beijing to uncover, as well as sailing in Qingdao on China’s north-east coast, and equestrian sports in Hong Kong, to the south.

Clicking the different icons allows you to:

• find out more about the 37 Chinese Olympic venues

• read articles from journalists on BBC Sport’s Olympics blog

• read Twitter updates from BBC Sport’s journalists in China

You can also explore a selection of well-known Beijing locations, from landmarks like the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, to modern focal points like Beijing’s airport and the BBC Sport studios.

Hover over any icon and a pop-up window will appear with more information. Click to expand the window for more detail.

You can roam freely across the map but remember, most Olympic events are concentrated in and around Beijing. We have provided links to Qingdao and Hong Kong, so you can move there with a simple click.

See if you can track down the football stadia at Tianjin, Shenyang, Shanghai and Qinhuangdao! If you get lost, the “reset map” button will take you back to Beijing’s Olympic Green so you can restart your journey.

For feedback on Olympic map - you can leave your comments on BBC Sport’s Olympics blog.
