Embed Google Map in your Wordpress Blog

Embed any HTML code in Wordpress without any problem. A new, free Wordpress plugin, allows anyone to embed safely and reliably any piece of embeddable code, widget or Javascript inside any post on your blog site.

You might have frustrated with Wordpress built in WYSIWYG editor while embedding HTML code. Sometimes your editor deletes your code without your notice. No matter. You can embed any HTML code into your Wordpress blog with EmbedIt plugin through which you can embed YouTube, Metacafe, Ustream.tv, Google maps, Adsense code etc.

Embedding Google Map is very simple and explained below,

Step 1: Install and activate EmbedIt plugin

Step 2: Sign up for Google map API code (from http://code.google.com/apis/maps/)

Step 3: Now in the Wordpress post editing window, place your cursor where you want your video to appear and just type HTML1 as shown below

Step 4: Create a cutom field using key HTML1. Paste Google Map API code in the corresponding value field. Clickupdate button and also save the post. Click here to go to the page where I have embedded a Google map.

These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages.
